Beginning of Weaving the Fiesta Rug

Good evening.  So far we have shown you the process of getting the bags of upholstery selvedge to the point of setting up a run.  Today we are going to show you the beginning of the weaving process.  Before you can begin weaving the upholstery selvedge, you need to set up your warp.  We do 16 rows of warp which is twice the normal amount.  After this has been completed, we then begin weaving the colored upholstery selvedge to create the look of the Fiesta Rug. 

As you can see from the pictures, the vibrant colors are starting to show how the Fiesta Rug is beginning to look.   As you can see, this is a beautiful rug because the colors are bright and very inviting.
