Rug Sizes

We will finish up with rug sizes today. We have covered areas in the kitchen and in the living room. Today we are going to take you to the dining room. Sizes that work for your dining room table can range from 6' all the way to 8' depending not only on the size of your table but whether you want the chairs to be on your rug or not when pulled out.
Another area is the bedroom. You can put rugs on each side of your bed. Depending on the size they would range from 39" all the way up to 80". You can use a 24" or 28" wide rug for this. Also, you can put a small rug by your rocker which can range from approximately 27" to 34". Here you could use a 20" or 24" wide rug.
Remember that when measuring for your rug, we do not include the fringe in the size of the rug. If you are someone who visualizes better, take a piece of newspaper and cut the length and width you are considering and lay it out. This will give you an idea of what size you are needing.
